In an age when our politics and public policy coverage has become less about serious debate and deliberation -- and more about sound bites, attack ads, and the lies and distortions spun out by the corporate media -- Common Dreams provides a substantive alternative.
We often hear from our readers that they gain sustenance from the news and views we publish. News free of corporate advertising and bias. Views focused on economic and social justice. Truth that can be transformative.
The letters we receive reinforce our belief that for them, and for many of you, Common Dreams is an essential part of a progressive future.
