On Wednesday, thousands of women, men and children marched through Nicaragua's streets to demand women's rights in a country where sexual violence is shockingly widespread. They were joined in spirit by 50,000 Amnesty supporters from 40 countries. Each had each created a unique butterfly in a show of solidarity, giving strength to the marchers and showing the authorities that the world is watching.
