How to demonize Iran while hiding the real news? US media and their compliance to pawing the road toward a full scale war against Iran!

I am no friend of this jack ass (Ahmadinejad), but the way US media is cutting and pasting his stupid message is part of the demonizing the Iranians in general and pawing the way for the incoming US/Israeli attack against the Islamic Republic.

The begging and ending of the video is very good, it shows the manipulation of the way the news about Ahmadinejad is being broadcasted in the US and almost everywhere else in the world.

Iran is a signatory of NPT, and in accordance to the NPT, has the right to enrich Uranium for civilian purpose, that is one major issue that none of the major news media is even mentioning.

I personally believe IRI does not need nuclear technology, it is a dangerous technology and Iran can be an example in the ME to promote alternative energy, but sadly the leadership of the Islamic Republic are so stupidly involved in this project that they can not even think of any other solution to this problem something that the US and their Israeli war promoters are using so perfectly to create an atmosphere where the world 'can not afford not to attack Iran'.

Lets call them on their lies and don't let Iran become another disaster like Iraq.

Gulf News: Iran Is Not The Belligerent Party

Iran Is Not The Belligerent Party

By Linda S. Heard, Special to Gulf News
Published: June 23, 2008

01/07/08 "Gulf News" -- - In recent years Iran has become the target of a belligerent campaign against it, orchestrated by usual suspects the US, Israel and Britain. This aggressive nuclear-armed trio has badgered other nations to back anti-Iranian sanctions without even the flimsiest evidence that Tehran is pursuing nuclear weapons.

Since 2006, Iran has been subjected to three rounds of ever-tightening UN sanctions while the European Union (EU) is preparing to freeze funds and assets of Bank Melli, Iran's largest bank. And what heinous crime has Tehran perpetrated to warrant this treatment?

In truth, Iran hasn't done anything wrong. Under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), to which it is a signatory, it has an "inalienable right" to develop, research, produce and use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, which includes the right to enrich uranium.

But because Washington harbours old grievances against the Iranian government and Israel is determined to eliminate potential powerful rivals within the region Iran is being squeezed to relinquish its rights.

The stance of the US and its allies is not only based on an unfounded and unfair premise, it reeks of hypocrisy when nuclear-armed Israel has a green light to continue its ridiculous policy of nuclear ambiguity and is not being pressed to sign-up to the NPT.

On the rare occasions that Western leaders are asked about this inconsistency, they deftly change the subject, terminate the interview, or launch into a tirade, which usually includes Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad' s "wipe Israel off the map" statement, knowing full well that his words were mistranslated. They cannot debate the issue because it defies logic.

When it comes to demonising Iran, the US, Israel and Britain have a unified message and a compliant media, which has learned nothing from its mistakes during the run-up to the invasion of Iraq, and seems happy to continue to act as a government propaganda arm in some cases.

Thanks to the dutiful corporate mouthpieces, most Americans and Britons have no idea that Tehran is acting within its rights under the NPT.

They don't know that in December, a US intelligence estimate stated categorically that Iran is not currently developing nukes or that the nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which monitors Iranian facilities, has no proof it seeks to do so.

The West's propaganda campaign is so effective that the majority of Westerners believe that Iran is the belligerent even though the facts support the contrary argument.

For instance, the US President George W. Bush has rarely missed an opportunity to insult, condemn and threaten Iran throughout his two terms in office beginning with his puerile "Axis of Evil".

The Republican presidential candidate, Senator John McCain, made his feelings known in his "bomb, bomb Iran" ditty. And even his Democratic opponent, Barack Obama, has vowed to eliminate the threat posed by Iran whatever it takes.

Israeli leaders have gone a step further. Earlier this month, Israel's Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz said an attack on Iran appeared "unavoidable" . Interestingly, every time the rhetoric is ratcheted up so is the price of oil, which is good news for Tehran's coffers.

Worse, Israel recently launched a military air exercise over the eastern Mediterranean involving over 100 fighter jets and helicopters, which, according to US officials was a prelude to a possible strike on Iran's enrichment plant at Natanz.

An Israeli spokesperson told the Times that Iran should "read the writing on the wall" as this was a "dress rehearsal" and Iranians should "read the script before they continue with their programme" else Israel "will take military steps to halt Tehran's production of bomb-grade uranium."

In this case, shouldn't this dry run constitute an act of war? It is certainly a provocative act and should be taken seriously in light of Israel's recent incursion into Syrian airspace to bomb a military facility and its 1981 attack on Iraq's Osirak reactor.

When Egypt amassed over 200,000 troops in the Sinai in early June 1967, Israel struck first, blamed Egypt for initiating hostilities and claiming it had acted out of self-defence. Surely, Israel's self-confessed rehearsal is similarly provocative and in the extremely unlikely event Iran struck first, it could also argue self-defence.

Sabre-rattling

Whether Israel is merely sabre-rattling in an attempt to persuade Iran to agree to the latest EU package of inducements or whether it is deadly serious is the subject of debate.

IAEA Chief Mohammad Al Baradei seems to be taking it seriously and if Iran is attacked he says he will resign.

"I don't believe that what I see in Iran today is a current, grave and urgent danger. If a military strike is carried out against Iran at this time, it would make me unable to continue my work," he said, warning that such an attack would turn the region into "a fireball".

Iran is taking it seriously too. Last Sunday, its Defence Minister Mustafa Mohammad Najjar told the nation that if attacked Iran would use "all means available" to come up with a devastating response. Those of us who live in the neighbourhood can only pray that cooler heads put an end to this madness before it's too late.

Doctors Without Boarder : Top 10 Underreported Crises

"What I saw when I was in Afgooye, Somalia, was a desperate humanitarian situation. Many of the people I met had been on the street for more than a month without any assistance. They were scared and anxious and the atmosphere was very tense. When I asked people where they had been sleeping and what they had been eating, they just pointed to makeshift shelters and told me, 'There's nothing here.'"
DR. GUSTAVO FERNANDEZ
DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS HEAD OF MISSION
SOMALIA, MAY 2007

Dear Mr. Abdolian,
Millions of people are struggling to survive amidst violence and large-scale medical crises, but you'll only read about them in our "Top 10 Most Underreported Humanitarian Stories," not in today's headlines. The stories of people Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides care for and you support aren't often told.
This year, Doctors Without Borders' 10th annual list of the "Top 10 Most Underreported Humanitarian Stories" covers the globe. For a decade we have been using the list to highlight the staggering toll taken by humanitarian crises like the growing problem of drug-resistant tuberculosis (TB); the suffering caused by conflicts and repression in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Sri Lanka, and Somalia; and malnutrition associated with the deaths of five million children worldwide annually under the age of five.
While increased attention will not guarantee an end to suffering for the people highlighted in our slideshow of the "Top 10 Most Underreported Humanitarian Stories," it will help to ensure that their plight is known. Please share this email with friends who you think would be interested.
Please help us with a gift of $125, $190, or more today. Your ongoing support provides urgently needed care to millions who may otherwise have been forgotten. We are asking you to remember them today and give generously. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Nicolas de Torrente signature

P.S. Please give generously today so that people affected by violence, tuberculosis, and malnutrition will receive the assistance they need.

Fwd: Inside Israel's nuclear reactor secrets!

This is an interesting short documentary, it takes you inside the Israeli nuclear reactor that is out of reach for IAEA or any other international organization.

This is where Israel is making it's own nuclear weapon grade plutonium, that is used inside one of the 150 nuclear bombs the State of Israel posses (according to Jimmy Carter).

Do you think anyone will ask for a pre-emptive strike against Israel because of their Uranium enrichment program or their Plutonium separation and production?

Interesting isn't it?

The language of Genocide and Fasism!

This is something I had been saying for long, I am glad someone made a compilation of movies, TV shows, documentaries and news broadcast to show the outrageous racist and sign language used every day on American TV and movies to de-humanize the Arabs.

Many years ago, Sven Lindqvist, the Swedish historian and former diplomat started his famous book "Exterminate all the Brutes" with this text:

"You already know enough. So do I. It is not knowledge we lack. What is missing is the courage to understand what we know and to draw conclusions."
The great argument in his book was that the idea of "extermination" of other people was not new in the modern western culture, throughout history, Europeans and Americans had done this in the name of civilization, their superiority had given them the right to exterminate those not worthy of living.

The road to this inhumane behavior was paved by taking away the humanitya from  the victims, seeing them as lower level creature, animals, cockroaches, beast, savages etc. The ultimate result of this view was during the 1930s and the rise of Nazis, when Hitler and his followers looked at the Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals and communists as evil, sub-humans who could be killed in 1000s and millions and those who committed those horrendous crimes could do this without any guilt.

This short Youtube movie shows the same language used in todays world, how the Arabs, and by Arabs, these people mean anyone from the Middle East. Are not humans, they are savages, and they should be killed.
From Walt Disney who paves the way for creating a bad image of good guys who speak fluent English and they name is Al (instead of the Alla'eddin), and the western sounding Jasmin, were in fight with those nasty creatures who's name is Jabbar and he and his "buddies" all speak English with a strong Arab accent. Even today in the latest Disney movie, the only "crook" is a north African (Arab) guy who is not only evil, but also dumb (watch Ratatouille and you will easily identify the non-white crook in the movie)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ97mS4jikk

Watch this video and spread it, this is how the Nazis created the road to the Holocaust in Europe, and now our American 'friends' are doing it for the next victims of the great western 'civilization' meaning the Arabs.

Fwd: Articles of Impeachment for George W. Bush

Articles of Impeachment for George W. Bush

Rep. Dennis Kucinich Reads 35 Articles of Impeachment
for George W. Bush into the Congressional Record

Despite very scant coverage in the mainstream media, you may have heard that on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) read his 35 Articles of Impeachment (text and video here) against George W. Bush aloud on the floor of the House of Representatives. The Articles are now part of the Congressional Record.  This important and historic document will show future generations that not everyone in Congress was willing to ignore or gloss over the many crimes of this administration.

VR has been urging impeachment of Bush for years with ads in the New York Times and Washington Post, our ubiquitous Impeachmobile, our strong support of AfterDowningStreet.org, and with many blog posts. It is therefore with pride that we can report that VR and its co-founder Brad Friedman were consulted by Kucinich's office prior to his filing of the Articles of Impeachment.  Brad and VR Election Protection Strike Force blogger Steve Heller provided research and documentation for Article XXVIII, "Tampering With Free And Fair Elections, Corruption Of The Administration Of Justice," and Article XXIX, "Conspiracy To Violate The Voting Rights Act Of 1965."
The House has voted 251-166 to send the Articles of Impeachment to the House Judiciary Committee.  The Democratic leadership would like the matter to die in committee.

But Rep. Kucinich is not going to go quietly.  He has released a statement:
"It is now imperative that the Judiciary Committee begin a review of the 35 Articles.  I will be providing supporting documentation to the committee so that it can proceed in an orderly manner.  …  Now it is incumbent for the Judiciary Committee to review the evidence.  If it fails to hold any hearings on the resolution within the next thirty days, given the gravity of the charges and the moment, I will once again bring a similar privileged resolution of Impeachment to the House."
Kucinich continued:
"Leadership wants to bury it, but this is one resolution that will be coming back from the dead.  …  We'll come back and many of us will be reading this [on the House floor], and we'll come back with 60 articles, not 35."
To show your thanks and support for impeachment and for Rep. Kucinich, as well as for Rep. Robert Wexler (D-FL), who has co-sponsored the resolution, please sign this petition at Democrats.com.  The more signatures that are gathered, the greater the pressure on Congress to act.  This petition will also serve as proof to future generations that the American people were not willing to allow their President to commit crimes and not be held accountable.
Also, please email and call your House Representative and urge him/her to co-sponsor Rep. Kucinich's Resolution of Impeachment, and your Senators to press them to support efforts to impeach President Bush for High Crimes and Misdemeanors.
And perhaps most importantly, please email and call the House Judiciary Committee and insist they take immediate action on the Articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush.
The Constitution cannot protect itself.  We, the People must demand our legislators take action to hold George W. Bush and his administration accountable for the Constitutional, statutory and human rights crimes they have committed.  The fate of our Constitutional Republic may well be at stake.
All the best,
VR
